Check out my brochure!
Hi,
My name is Ms. Abby Danko and I am excited to embark on a new school year here at Baltic Elementary! I was born and raised near Leota, Minnesota and I was a 2001 graduate of Edgerton Public School. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from South Dakota State University in May of 2006. In May of 2010, I graduated with my Master's of Science Degree from South Dakota State University in the field of Counseling and Human Science with an emphasis in School Counseling. I received my National Certified Counselor credentials in 2010.
I am excited this year to have my oldest, Mason, attend preschool here with me and he is excited he gets to come with Mommy to work! Mason is 4 and his younger brother, Liam, will be 3 in October. I can not believe how fast time flies. Cherish every second! My husband, Erik, works for the United States Department of Agriculture - Forest Service Division as a Wildland Firefighter. We bought a home this past year in Edgerton, Minnesota and enjoy being close to our family! Some of my hobbies include: gardening, DIY projects, learning to play the guitar, and fishing!
The 2015-2016 school year at Baltic Elementary is well under way and I am very eager to get to know your families and to promote a positive learning environment for your child/children. This is my seventh year as a school counselor (6th year at Baltic), with my first year spent in Northern Minnesota. I love my career and I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you! Thank you for your support and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions and I would be happy to discuss those with you!
